Activity - Task One








1. Download ‘Task One Song’ and have a listen.





2. Download the loops in the ‘Task One Loops’ folder





3. Using the loops you downloaded, create an identical copy of the song ‘Task One Song’.





4. You must use audacity to create the song.





5. Take a print screen of the tracks in audacity and place a copy of the picture below.





6. Export your song as an MP3. Save as Task One Song and show your teacher when finished.

1.    Download ‘Task Two Song’ and have a listen.

2.    Download the loops in the ‘Task Two Loops’ folder

3.    Using the loops you downloaded, create an identical copy of the song ‘Task Two Song’.

4.    You must use audacity to create the song.

5.    Take a print screen of the tracks in audacity and place a copy of the picture below.

6.    Export your song as an MP3. Save as Task Two Song and show your teacher when finished.

HINT: It is the same song, but only a few tracks have been slightly changed.

Activity – Task Three







1. Download the loops in the ‘Task Three Loops’ folder





2. Using the loops you downloaded, create a song of your choice. NOTE: You must use at least 3 features of audacity.





3. In the space below, list the features you have used and explain i) what they do and ii) why you have used this feature, iii) include a picture of the feature


I have used three very key features. I have used the move tool to put my work in the correct place. I have used the trim tool to get rid of repetitive bits and i have used the magnifiying glass so I could get in close to make my trimmmings exact.





4. Also take a print screen of the complete song in Audacity and include the picture below



5. Export your song as an MP3. Save as My First Song and show your teacher when finished.

Task Four Activity

create a song of your choice. NOTE: The loop packs on Google Drive are zipped (Compressed). You will need to download them and then unzip the folder to access the loops.

4. Export your song as an MP3. Save as My Second Song and show your teacher when finished.
